💻 How to Log In and Set Up Your MacBook (Mosyle Manager/Google Workspace)
This guide shows you how to complete the first-time setup for your new MacBook, managed via Mosyle Manager, using your school Google Workspace credentials.
Summary of Steps
These steps apply to your first-ever login on a new MacBook and create your local user account and enable Touch ID.
On the MacBook login screen, click Sign in with Google.
Enter your full school email address (e.g., firstname.lastname@thamesbritishschool.pl) and click Next.

Enter your Google Workspace password and click Next.
Wait while the device shows "Creating account with your Google password..." (this may take a few minutes).
On the Accessibility screen, click Not Now.
On the Data & Privacy screen, click Continue.

On the Sign in to Your Apple Account screen:
On the Sign in to Apple School Manager screen, click Continue.
On the iCloud Keychain screen, select "Use iCloud Keychain" and click Continue.
On the Screen Time screen, click Set Up Later and Continue.
On the Apple Intelligence (or similar) screen, click Set Up Later and Continue.
On the Siri screen, select "Enable Ask Siri" (or leave unchecked) and click Continue.
On the Touch ID screen, click Continue.
Follow the instructions to place and lift your finger repeatedly on the Touch ID button (the power button) until your fingerprint is registered. Click Continue.
On the Choose Your Look screen, select your preferred appearance (Light, Auto, or Dark) and click Continue.
The device will now load the macOS desktop.
Logging In After Setup
Once your local account is created, you have faster login options after a restart or when logging out:
Option A: Quick Local Login (Recommended)
On the login screen, click the person icon (👤) at the top-right corner.
In the pop-up, enter your Account name (e.g., firstname.lastname without @thamesbritishschool.pl).
Enter your Google Workspace password.
Click the arrow button to log in.
Option B: Touch ID (After Screen Lock)
